Jeff Thurston brings his culinary skills to Parkers’ Lighthouse in Long Beach.
Chef Jeff Thurston has a long history of delighting gastronomes. Leveraging his early experiences with the chefs at La Pigalle in Toronto, Jeff worked with renowned west coast chefs Wolfgang Puck at Chinois on Main and Hans Rockenwagner at his Santa Monica flagship restaurant.
Jeff then travelled north to San Francisco to work as Executive Chef at Gordon Biersch. From there, he moved on to the Chef’s position at Wolfgang Puck’s Obachine in Seattle where he found his menu and style being strongly influenced by the bounty of both the land and sea of the Pacific Northwest.
Chef Thurston was then recruited to open The Prado at Balboa Park in San Diego which he helmed for a number of years while garnering a California Restaurant Association “Chef of the Year” honor. Now, as Executive Chef at Parkers’ Lighthouse, Chef Thurston’s broad experience and commitment to fine cuisine coupled with great local food sources will continue to enhance guests’ dining experiences at Parkers’ Lighthouse and the Queensview Steakhouse.
